To rebuild the homes of families that were destroyed in the earthquake of Feb 27th, 2010.
Habitat for Humanity is launching their effort in the small town of Curepto the week of June 7th. I am going to help them by raising as much money as possible and follow it up with an onsite documentary I will film myself with a small crew in August of 2010.

Curepto is a small rural town of about 11,000 people in the province of Talca, Maule region which was one of the hardest hit in the quake and following tsunami. Its houses, as in many rural areas in Chile, are made of mud brick which easily collapses in a severe earthquake. The Magnitude 8.8 earthquake destroyed or badly damaged most of the homes. The town is located in the north of the Maule region, about 16 km inland from the Pacific Ocean, about 300 Km southwest of Santiago. It is mostly an agricultural town. Habitat for Humanity Chile wants to build 100 homes which can be part of a permanent solution for those who are still living in tents.
